Designing internal and partner tool for Revive Retails, a second-hand solution for E-retailers.
I’m a French native living in Stockholm since 2013. After 15 wonderful years in the art and architecture field, I decided to upskill myself and pivoted my career to UX/Product Design.
I am a graduate architect who sees striking similarities between UX/UI design and architectural design.
Both fields involve crucial elements such as research, sketching, needs identification, idea communication, adherence to budgets and regulations, and the creation of user-centered solutions that cater to diverse audiences. These are skills I honed during my six years of architectural studies, and I now leverage as a UX designer.
As a visualization specialist in architecture, my primary objective was to convey the essence of a project to both professionals and laypersons.
A single image encompasses countless details: lighting, furniture types, vegetation, and even people's clothing styles. The process is often iterative, with active participation from both the architect and the client.
The technical aspects of creating architectural visualizations involved modeling and rendering, utilizing software such as Sketchup, Revit, Enscape, 3ds Max, Vray, and Photoshop, to name a few. My experience as a user of numerous software applications exposed me to both their capabilities and shortcomings.
It was during this time that I understood my deep interest lay in their design, particularly in the aspects that directly interact with users. This discovery led me to the realization that UX design was a distinct profession, prompting me to pursue education in this field.
I pursue a profound sense of responsibility towards present and future generations, coupled with a genuine concern for the pressing issue of climate change. These values serve as a guiding compass in my professional life. I am deeply committed to ecological and social justice, sustainable energy and food systems, environmental conservation, gender equality, democracy, and inclusion.
I firmly believe that these values are interconnected in ways that often go unreported in mainstream media. However, they are becoming increasingly necessary for a successful and sustainable business.
I have a keen interest in projects related to architecture, art, culture, cinema, and documentaries. In the realm of technology, I am especially enthusiastic about Mixed Reality and its potential applications in specific contexts such as architecture, archaeology, museum scenography, and education.
